Pipe connection dimensions are in mm; thread sizes marked with a double quote are in inches.
Pieces per bag reflects the catalogue packing quantity, not a minimum order quantity. Confirm your order quantity and packing format when requesting a quote.
Application and Product Selection
A compression elbow changes the direction of a run using PE pipes of the same diameter. Check the required turn, both outside diameters and the space needed for the fitting body.
Select from the Blue PN16 Series dimensions in this page’s product-code table. Do not assume another series offers the same size range.
Define the connection before ordering
- Reading the size
- Check both connection ends and the required change of direction together. A reducing elbow may connect pipes of different diameters.
- Matching and layout
- Plan the run around the elbow rather than pulling the pipe sideways to make it fit. Leave access around the nuts and connection for installation.
- An example from the catalogue
- Product code: KGD1020020000 · Size: 20x20
This example identifies one catalogue row; use the code for your required size and state the quantity in your enquiry.
Assembly and Installation Planning
Do not pull the pipes into a forced fit. Leave room to turn the nuts and inspect the joints, then secure both connections according to the instructions.

Compression elbow — Blue PN16 Series: application and model selection
A compression elbow changes the direction of a run using PE pipes of the same diameter.
At a corner, identify the components on both sides as well as the change of direction. A straight coupling, a size transition and a turn into threaded equipment are different selections. Review the elbow's placement alongside the size record and the space available for installation.
Read the catalogue size and series context
Verify the size and connection type at each end of the direction change. The elbow name alone does not establish the installation angle or matching connection types. Actual catalogue records for this model include 20×20, 50×50, 110×110. Read the complete size expression alongside the series identity; do not transfer the size range of another similarly named model to this one.
Product code, packaging and piece quotation
Use “the selected row's product code / the selected catalogue size” and requested pieces on each quotation line. Catalogue pack quantity is separate from requested quantity or minimum order. Confirm current piece price, stock, packaging and delivery in writing.
What should be confirmed before installation?
Confirm the conveyed fluid, temperature, operating and surge pressure, pipe or hose class and connection form against information for the selected product. A series name, appearance or another component's data does not establish suitability of the whole installation. Use the relevant instructions for tightening and sealing methods.

Frequently asked questions
6 questions and answers covering size, use, technical checks and quotations.
Can the elbow be bent to adjust its angle?
It has a fixed geometry. Choose the correct fitting and layout instead of heating or forcing the body into another shape.
Does an equal elbow reduce the pipe size?
This family changes direction. To connect different pipe diameters at the turn, consider a reducing elbow matching both sizes.
How do I choose the size?
Measure the PE pipe outside diameter. Identify any threaded connection separately. Do not confuse a pipe OD in millimetres with a thread size in inches; check both ends and any third outlet.
Does PN16 mean 16 bar under every condition?
The PN16 designation alone does not establish the operating pressure of the entire system. Verify the manufacturer’s data for fluid, temperature, pipe class, surge pressure and installation conditions.
What information is needed for an order?
Specify the product code, series, connection sizes and quantity. Add the application, operating conditions and delivery address when requesting a written quote.
What should I check before installation?
The pipe end should be square-cut, clean and undamaged. Check seals and gripping components against the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not dismantle a pressurised system; arrange an appropriate leak check after assembly.
