Female adapter
Connects a PE pipe end to male-threaded equipment. Select the pipe outside diameter and female thread size separately.
6 catalogue options →
Male adapter
Connects PE pipe to a female-threaded valve, filter or component. Pipe diameter and thread size are different measurements.
8 catalogue options →
Coupling
Joins two PE pipe ends of the same outside diameter in a straight line. Both ends of a 63×63 mm coupling are for 63 mm OD pipe.
3 catalogue options →
Compression tee
Provides three equal-size connections for branching a line. Check all three pipe diameters and the space required for installation.
3 catalogue options →
Compression elbow
Changes the direction of a pipe run. Measure the outside diameter at both ends and the available installation space.
3 catalogue options →
Reducer
Joins PE pipes of different outside diameters. The size 63×50 mm identifies the two pipe ends, not the pressure rating.
3 catalogue options →
Reducing tee
Creates a branch with a different pipe diameter. Confirm the order of all three dimensions against the product code.
3 catalogue options →
Reducing elbow
Combines a change of direction with a change of diameter. Check both pipe sizes and the required installation direction.
3 catalogue options →
Male threaded tee
Creates a male-threaded branch on a PE line. Check the centre outlet thread independently of the main pipe diameter.
3 catalogue options →
End cap
Closes an open PE pipe end. The end-cap size must match the pipe outside diameter.
3 catalogue options →
Male threaded elbow
Changes direction while connecting to female-threaded equipment. Specify pipe outside diameter and male thread size together.
5 catalogue options →Choose the connection for its function
The New PN16 Series offers different forms for straight PE-pipe joints, changes of direction, branches, size transitions and connections to threaded equipment. Select the connection function first, then check the product code and both end sizes. Do not assume every component is offered in every size.
Coupling, elbow, tee or adapter?
Consider a coupling for a straight joint between pipes of the same outside diameter, an elbow for a turn, and a tee for a branch. For reducers and reducing tees or elbows, the order of the large and small ends matters. When connecting a threaded appliance or valve, check the pipe side and the male or female thread side separately.
The PN16 designation and the system limit
PN16 in the series name identifies a pressure class. The permitted service conditions of the pipe, seal, valve and other components must also be compatible. Temperature, fluid and pressure changes must be assessed before approving a system. A higher-rated fitting does not increase the rating of a lower-rated pipe.
Checks for a compression connection
Prepare a square, burr-free pipe end and keep the surface and sealing area clean. Follow the selected fitting’s instructions for insertion depth, nut position and tightening method. If a joint leaks, check size, seating and component condition rather than applying extra force without diagnosis.
Checks before ordering and installation
- Match the pipe outside diameter to the selected product code in the table.
- State both diameters for a reducer, or pipe diameter and thread standard for an adapter.
- Limit bending loads at the joint and inspect it using the specified method before enclosing the installation.
Information for your quotation
Prepare the quotation request with the product code, dimensions at both ends, quantity and delivery destination. Specify each connection separately for twin outlets or unequal ends. The packing quantity in the table is not an automatic minimum order; stock, packing and delivery are confirmed in the written quotation.
These selection notes provide general technical guidance. Confirm the exact material, fluid compatibility, pressure/temperature limits and installation method in the current documentation for the selected product.
Frequently asked questions
3 questions and answers covering size, use, technical checks and quotations.
How do I select a New PN16 Series connection size?
Match the pipe outside diameter and connection types at both ends to the product table. For a reducer or threaded transition, check both dimensions; a PN16 fitting does not raise the pipe pressure class.
How do I check the product code and packaging quantity?
Use the product code, size and packaging quantity from the selected model’s table together. Codes and packaging quantities for different models on the family page are not interchangeable; state the order quantity separately in the quotation.
How do I request current pricing and delivery details?
Provide the product code or model name, size, quantity and delivery destination. Current prices, stock and shipping terms for this group are confirmed in a written quotation; do not assume an unpublished price or automatic availability.
