New PN16 Series: Joins PE pipes of different outside diameters. The size 63×50 mm identifies the two pipe ends, not the pressure rating.

Available for bulk orders. Include the product code, size, quantity and delivery destination in your enquiry.

Dimensions and product codes

Pipe connection dimensions are in mm; thread sizes marked with a double quote are in inches.

Pieces per bag reflects the catalogue packing quantity, not a minimum order quantity. Confirm your order quantity and packing format when requesting a quote.

Application and Product Selection

A reducing coupling makes a straight transition between PE pipes of different outside diameters. Measure the larger and smaller sides separately and match both listed sizes to the pipes.

Select from the New PN16 Series dimensions in this page’s product-code table. Do not assume another series offers the same size range.

Define the connection before ordering

Reading the size
Read the large and small connection sizes together. Each end of the reducer must match the outside diameter of its connecting pipe.
Matching and layout
A smaller pipe changes flow conditions and pressure loss. Selecting a fitting that physically matches does not replace hydraulic sizing of the line.

This example identifies one catalogue row; use the code for your required size and state the quantity in your enquiry.

Assembly and Installation Planning

Support the pipe ends in line without transferring the larger pipe’s load onto the smaller one. Account for the diameter change in the system’s flow and pressure-loss assessment.

Bulk Orders and Quotation Details

Ertunç Plastik accepts bulk-order enquiries. Send the product code, size, quantity and delivery destination together.

State larger × smaller outside diameter and the number of transitions.

Stock, packaging, delivery and commercial terms are confirmed in the written quotation. For mixed sizes, list each code on a separate line.

Reducer — New PN16 Series: application and model selection

A reducing coupling makes a straight transition between PE pipes of different outside diameters.

Where a line or equipment connection needs a transition between sizes, identify the larger and smaller sides first. Choosing a reducer is different from choosing an equal coupling. Compare the actual components without treating threaded model sizes and PE compression sizes as interchangeable fields.

Read the catalogue size and series context

Record the larger and smaller connection sizes and types separately. Do not treat a reducer as the same selection as an equal coupling. Actual catalogue records for this model include 25×20, 32×20, 32×25. Read the complete size expression alongside the series identity; do not transfer the size range of another similarly named model to this one.

Product code, packaging and piece quotation

Use “the selected row's product code / the selected catalogue size” and requested pieces on each quotation line. Catalogue pack quantity is separate from requested quantity or minimum order. Confirm current piece price, stock, packaging and delivery in writing.

What should be confirmed before installation?

Confirm the conveyed fluid, temperature, operating and surge pressure, pipe or hose class and connection form against information for the selected product. A series name, appearance or another component's data does not establish suitability of the whole installation. Use the relevant instructions for tightening and sealing methods.

Frequently asked questions

6 questions and answers covering size, use, technical checks and quotations.

Does a reducing coupling increase water pressure?

It is not a pressure booster. Diameter changes affect velocity and losses; outlet pressure depends on the whole system.

Can I order a reducer by one size only?

No. Both ends must be specified. Reducers with the same larger size can have different smaller ends and product codes.

How do I choose the size?

Measure the PE pipe outside diameter. Identify any threaded connection separately. Do not confuse a pipe OD in millimetres with a thread size in inches; check both ends and any third outlet.

Does PN16 mean 16 bar under every condition?

The PN16 designation alone does not establish the operating pressure of the entire system. Verify the manufacturer’s data for fluid, temperature, pipe class, surge pressure and installation conditions.

What information is needed for an order?

Specify the product code, series, connection sizes and quantity. Add the application, operating conditions and delivery address when requesting a written quote.

What should I check before installation?

The pipe end should be square-cut, clean and undamaged. Check seals and gripping components against the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not dismantle a pressurised system; arrange an appropriate leak check after assembly.
