Dimensions and product codes

Pipe connection dimensions are in mm; thread sizes marked with a double quote are in inches.

Pieces per bag reflects the catalogue packing quantity, not a minimum order quantity. Confirm your order quantity and packing format when requesting a quote.

Application and Product Selection

A reducing tee connects a main run to a branch of a different diameter. Do not guess the dimension order: identify the two main-run ends and branch outlet separately.

Select from the New PN16 Series dimensions in this page’s product-code table. Do not assume another series offers the same size range.

Define the connection before ordering

Reading the size
Identify the inlet, continuing main line and branch separately. The main-pipe size alone is not enough to specify a three-way connection.
Matching and layout
Choose an equal or reducing tee according to all three connection sizes. If the catalogue size order is unclear, include a simple sketch of the run.

This example identifies one catalogue row; use the code for your required size and state the quantity in your enquiry.

Assembly and Installation Planning

Choose the branch direction for the site layout and leave access to all three nuts. Plan support for both the main and branch, then check every joint after assembly.

Bulk Orders and Quotation Details

Ertunç Plastik accepts bulk-order enquiries. Send the product code, size, quantity and delivery destination together.

Send main-run and branch sizes in a labelled list or simple sketch.

Stock, packaging, delivery and commercial terms are confirmed in the written quotation. For mixed sizes, list each code on a separate line.

Reducing tee — New PN16 Series: application and model selection

A reducing tee connects a main run to a branch of a different diameter.

Where an irrigation main needs a branch, describe all three connections in a sketch or order line. An equal compression tee, a reducing tee and a threaded branch are separate model choices. Assess the middle outlet's direction and connection form separately from the continuation of the main.

Read the catalogue size and series context

Check each main-line and branch connection separately. Do not fill a missing third-end size by guessing from the catalogue size order. Actual catalogue records for this model include 25×20×25, 32×20×32, 32×25×32. Read the complete size expression alongside the series identity; do not transfer the size range of another similarly named model to this one.

Product code, packaging and piece quotation

Use “the selected row's product code / the selected catalogue size” and requested pieces on each quotation line. Catalogue pack quantity is separate from requested quantity or minimum order. Confirm current piece price, stock, packaging and delivery in writing.

What should be confirmed before installation?

Confirm the conveyed fluid, temperature, operating and surge pressure, pipe or hose class and connection form against information for the selected product. A series name, appearance or another component's data does not establish suitability of the whole installation. Use the relevant instructions for tightening and sealing methods.

Frequently asked questions

6 questions and answers covering size, use, technical checks and quotations.

Which ends do the three listed dimensions describe?

Confirm the sequence against the code and relevant drawing. State explicitly which dimension is the branch.

Are all reducing tees with the same main size equivalent?

No. Branch size, series and connection arrangement must also match. Do not choose using only the largest diameter.

How do I choose the size?

Measure the PE pipe outside diameter. Identify any threaded connection separately. Do not confuse a pipe OD in millimetres with a thread size in inches; check both ends and any third outlet.

Does PN16 mean 16 bar under every condition?

The PN16 designation alone does not establish the operating pressure of the entire system. Verify the manufacturer’s data for fluid, temperature, pipe class, surge pressure and installation conditions.

What information is needed for an order?

Specify the product code, series, connection sizes and quantity. Add the application, operating conditions and delivery address when requesting a written quote.

What should I check before installation?

The pipe end should be square-cut, clean and undamaged. Check seals and gripping components against the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not dismantle a pressurised system; arrange an appropriate leak check after assembly.
