Pipe connection dimensions are in mm; thread sizes marked with a double quote are in inches.

Application and Product Selection
A female-threaded elbow turns a PE pipe run while connecting to male-threaded equipment. Check pipe diameter, female thread size and equipment position separately.
Select from the Blue PN16 Series dimensions in this page’s product-code table. Do not assume another series offers the same size range.
Define the connection before ordering
- Reading the size
- Select the pipe end by outside diameter in millimetres and the threaded end by nominal thread size. A multiplication sign does not mean both sizes use the same unit.
- Matching and layout
- A female-threaded connection mates with a compatible male thread. Confirm the thread standard and sealing method against the mating equipment’s specifications.
- An example from the catalogue
- Product code: KID1020012000 · Size: 20x1/2"
This example identifies one catalogue row; use the code for your required size and state the quantity in your enquiry.
Assembly and Installation Planning
Plan clearance to turn the threaded part and access the pipe connection. Do not let the elbow carry the equipment’s weight; provide suitable support where required.

Female Threaded Elbow — Blue PN16 Series: application and model selection
A female-threaded elbow turns a PE pipe run while connecting to male-threaded equipment.
At a corner, identify the components on both sides as well as the change of direction. A straight coupling, a size transition and a turn into threaded equipment are different selections. Review the elbow's placement alongside the size record and the space available for installation.
Read the catalogue size and series context
Verify the size and connection type at each end of the direction change. The elbow name alone does not establish the installation angle or matching connection types. Actual catalogue records for this model include 20×1/2", 50×1 1/4", 110×4". Read the complete size expression alongside the series identity; do not transfer the size range of another similarly named model to this one.
Product code, packaging and piece quotation
Use “the selected row's product code / the selected catalogue size” and requested pieces on each quotation line. Catalogue pack quantity is separate from requested quantity or minimum order. Confirm current piece price, stock, packaging and delivery in writing.
What should be confirmed before installation?
Confirm the conveyed fluid, temperature, operating and surge pressure, pipe or hose class and connection form against information for the selected product. A series name, appearance or another component's data does not establish suitability of the whole installation. Use the relevant instructions for tightening and sealing methods.

Frequently asked questions
6 questions and answers covering size, use, technical checks and quotations.
Are both ends intended for PE pipe?
No. One end connects to PE pipe and the other is female-threaded. For two pipe ends, choose from the compression-elbow family.
Can I leave the thread loose to set the direction?
Orientation and sealing must both be correct. Follow the approved assembly method rather than leaving the joint loose.
How do I choose the size?
Measure the PE pipe outside diameter. Identify any threaded connection separately. Do not confuse a pipe OD in millimetres with a thread size in inches; check both ends and any third outlet.
Does PN16 mean 16 bar under every condition?
The PN16 designation alone does not establish the operating pressure of the entire system. Verify the manufacturer’s data for fluid, temperature, pipe class, surge pressure and installation conditions.
What information is needed for an order?
Specify the product code, series, connection sizes and quantity. Add the application, operating conditions and delivery address when requesting a written quote.
What should I check before installation?
The pipe end should be square-cut, clean and undamaged. Check seals and gripping components against the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not dismantle a pressurised system; arrange an appropriate leak check after assembly.
