Define the connection before ordering

- Select a threaded fitting by the mating nominal thread size, not the pipe’s outside diameter. Check the number and orientation of male and female ends.
- Matching and layout
- Confirm the thread standard even when two connections carry the same inch designation. Include both sizes for a reducer and the third outlet for a tee.

A PP threaded coupling joins threaded components in a straight run.
When joining two threaded components in a straight line, check both threaded sides of the coupling. A PP threaded coupling enquiry should remain distinct from selection of a PE compression coupling. State the mating thread direction, nominal sizes and the available connection distance together.
Read the catalogue size and series context
Check both nominal thread sizes and the mating parts’ thread standard; these are not plain PE pipe outside diameters. Actual catalogue records for this model include 1/2"×1/2", 1 1/2"×1 1/2", 3"×3". Read the complete size expression alongside the series identity; do not transfer the size range of another similarly named model to this one.
Product code, packaging and piece quotation
Use “the selected row's product code / the selected catalogue size” and requested pieces on each quotation line. Catalogue pack quantity is separate from requested quantity or minimum order. Confirm current piece price, stock, packaging and delivery in writing.
What should be confirmed before installation?
Confirm the conveyed fluid, temperature, operating and surge pressure, pipe or hose class and connection form against information for the selected product. A series name, appearance or another component's data does not establish suitability of the whole installation. Use the relevant instructions for tightening and sealing methods.

Can the threaded coupling fit directly onto plain PE pipe?
It requires a threaded connection. Plain PE pipe needs a suitable transition adapter or a coupling selected by pipe OD.
Is the listed inch size the actual outside diameter?
It is a nominal thread size. Do not convert it to mm and treat it as a plain-pipe OD; verify the thread standard separately.
How do I choose the size?
Sizes marked with a double quote are nominal thread sizes. Check whether each connection is male or female, verify the thread standard and confirm the mating component uses the same standard. The nominal inch size is not a direct conversion of the measured thread outside diameter.
How do I verify the pressure and temperature suitability?
Do not assign PN16 to this range based on the name of another series. Provide the product code, fluid, operating temperature and required pressure conditions; confirm suitability with a technical data sheet and written quote.
What information is needed for an order?
Specify the product code, series, connection sizes and quantity. Add the application, operating conditions and delivery address when requesting a written quote.
What should I check before installation?
Check that the threads are clean and undamaged and that male/female orientation and thread standards match. Verify the sealing material and tightening method in the product instructions. Do not dismantle a pressurised line.
