Dimensions and product codes

Dimensions marked with a double quote are in inches, not millimetres. Confirm the thread orientation and standard of each connection separately.

Pieces per bag reflects the catalogue packing quantity, not a minimum order quantity. Confirm your order quantity and packing format when requesting a quote.

Application and Product Selection

A PP threaded plug closes an unused threaded connection. Check the mating size and thread arrangement; it is not the same as a compression cap for a plain PE pipe end.

Define the connection before ordering

Reading the size
Check the connection being closed: a compression end cap and a threaded plug are not interchangeable selections.
Matching and layout
Keep the closure accessible if the line may be extended later. Relieve pressure from the relevant section safely before removing the closure.
An example from the catalogue
Product code: FIA2012000000 · Size: 1/2"

This example identifies one catalogue row; use the code for your required size and state the quantity in your enquiry.

Assembly and Installation Planning

Clean the thread and use the appropriate sealing method. Isolate the line safely, never remove the plug under pressure, and leave access for maintenance.

Bulk Orders and Quotation Details

Ertunç Plastik accepts bulk-order enquiries. Send the product code, size, quantity and delivery destination together.

State the thread size to be closed and quantity for each size.

Stock, packaging, delivery and commercial terms are confirmed in the written quotation. For mixed sizes, list each code on a separate line.

PP Threaded Plug: application and model selection

A PP threaded plug closes an unused threaded connection.

Before closing an unused line end, establish whether it is a plain pipe or a threaded connection. Compression end caps and PP threaded plugs are separate model choices for that reason. If later opening or removal is required, include the access requirement in the order notes.

Read the catalogue size and series context

Match the connection size and type to the selected cap or plug record; keep pipe outside diameter separate from thread size. Actual catalogue records for this model include 1/2", 1 1/2", 4". Read the complete size expression alongside the series identity; do not transfer the size range of another similarly named model to this one.

Product code, packaging and piece quotation

Use “the selected row's product code / the selected catalogue size” and requested pieces on each quotation line. Catalogue pack quantity is separate from requested quantity or minimum order. Confirm current piece price, stock, packaging and delivery in writing.

What should be confirmed before installation?

Confirm the conveyed fluid, temperature, operating and surge pressure, pipe or hose class and connection form against information for the selected product. A series name, appearance or another component's data does not establish suitability of the whole installation. Use the relevant instructions for tightening and sealing methods.

Frequently asked questions

6 questions and answers covering size, use, technical checks and quotations.

Should I use a valve instead of a plug?

Closing an unused connection differs from frequent operation. If the line needs regular control, choose an appropriate valve arrangement.

Can I convert the inch size to pipe OD to select the plug?

Use the nominal thread size and standard. A mathematical inch conversion alone does not establish connection compatibility.

How do I choose the size?

Sizes marked with a double quote are nominal thread sizes. Check whether each connection is male or female, verify the thread standard and confirm the mating component uses the same standard. The nominal inch size is not a direct conversion of the measured thread outside diameter.

How do I verify the pressure and temperature suitability?

Do not assign PN16 to this range based on the name of another series. Provide the product code, fluid, operating temperature and required pressure conditions; confirm suitability with a technical data sheet and written quote.

What information is needed for an order?

Specify the product code, series, connection sizes and quantity. Add the application, operating conditions and delivery address when requesting a written quote.

What should I check before installation?

Check that the threads are clean and undamaged and that male/female orientation and thread standards match. Verify the sealing material and tightening method in the product instructions. Do not dismantle a pressurised line.
